Drafting Lt. Governor Bill Bolling for Governor in 2013 makes sense in so many ways.

We organize this to generate activity and excitement in the field ahead of any official announcement by the Lieutenant Governor. He has stated he will make a decision on March 14, 2013.

During the General Assembly, the Lt. Governor was restricted from soliciting campaign contributiion for a prospective run for Governor. Now that the session is over, the petition drive and the financial outreach is in full swing. Send any amount of funds you can now  to our draft committee to keep the petition drive going.

Based on over 12 years of experience at statewide petition drives for smaller party and independent candidates, we know that starting in March would be too late to attain the 10,000 needed (minumim 400 in each of Virginia's 11 congressional districts).
